As part of the IAPSM WB Chapter Warm Chain 2026 initiative during World Breastfeeding Week (1–7 August 2026) , we invite every Department of Community Medicine to nominate at least one faculty member to record a 30–60 second evidence-based breastfeeding tip.
A simple, practical message from an experienced teacher can reassure a mother, dispel myths, build confidence, and promote optimal breastfeeding practices.
These short videos will come together to create the "IAPSM WB Warm Chain Wisdom Library" —a freely accessible digital repository of expert messages from Community Medicine faculty across West Bengal. This resource will continue to educate and empower mothers, families, students, healthcare professionals, and the wider community long after World Breastfeeding Week has concluded.
