About Us
Indian Association of Preventive & Social Medicine (IAPSM) West Bengal Chapter is an academic,not-for-profit organization of medical doctors qualified in the discipline of Community Medicine/Preventive Medicine.The organization conducts periodic training workshops and Continued Medical Education (CME) events that are a part of keeping the members updated about the latest developments in the field of Public Health/Community Medicine.It is a registered Society,duly having registration with the West Bengal Registrar of Societies under the Societies Registration Act.
It conducts an annual state conference at different venues each year.
Besides this,it also organizes community outreach programs on specific days of the year,which are related to Public Health (like AIDS Day, Diabetes Day, Environment Day,etc).
While members of this association do not pay any annual fees,they pay for participating in the above-mentioned programs and events.
