The Undergraduate Quiz in Community Medicine has become one of the most awaited academic events under the IAPSM West Bengal Chapter. Since 2023, the quiz has been renamed as the Dr. Saswati Nandy Memorial Inter‑Collegiate UG Quiz, in loving memory of our respected teacher and mentor, Dr. Saswati Nandy, whose legacy continues to inspire us all.
This quiz is conducted with the aim of motivating undergraduate students to develop interest and deeper understanding in Community Medicine. Students from different medical colleges across West Bengal participate with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. It offers them a unique platform to showcase their knowledge in Community Medicine.
What makes this quiz even more special is the active involvement of faculty members. Teachers guide and support their students passionately, often sharing in their excitement and nerves. There is a strong sense of pride and friendly rivalry. The event fosters academic collaboration, camaraderie, and mutual respect across institutions.
